Hi everyone! If you know me, or follow me on Instagram, you know that I have been dying my hair lighter recently. I have always just had dark brown hair and wanted to spice it up a little bit (lol I'm a loser for saying that, I know). I have the most amazing hair stylist at Mira Salon in Bloomington who has been helping me transition to a more blonde color, the right way. With that being said, no matter how careful you are with your hair, bleaching is bleaching and I needed to start investing in haircare products to keep my hair soft and silky and HEALTHY. Just to add even more of an issue, I am even trying to grow my hair out, longer so I have to protect my ends ladies!!!
With that being said, some of my friends have been using DryBar products for a while and I loved the smell, but never wanted to spend the money on my haircare. When my hair stylist told me I had to start using Purple Shampoo to keep the blonde in my hair from turning yellow, I went to Ulta and began a hunt. After searching the aisles of haircare, I spotted the DryBar section and immediately remembered how much I love the delicious smell of their products. I decided to try the shampoo and it was incredible! From there, I continued to purchase a few more products. My hair has never been healthier and I couldn't be more happy with the investment.
Blonde Ale: (Purple Shampoo) As I mentioned above, it boosts the cooler blonde color in my hair and avoids my hair going yellow. I only use it a few times per week.
Hot Toddy: (Heat Protectant) Best heat protectant I have tried! Smells amazing and works great. I turn my straightening iron all the way up because I have naturally frizzy, curly hair and this has done a great job protecting my locks.
Detox: (Dry Shampoo) Great for use after my workouts if I don't plan on washing my hair, but want to rinse it and style it for the day. I have naturally oily skin and hair so this gives me a boost of volume in the middle of the day as well.
Triple Sec: (Texturize, Amplify, Refresh) The best product on the market, not kidding. It does exactly what the bottle says and then some. I have the flattest hair in the world and it can make my hair look like a pageant queen if I wanted it to.
