Sweater Weather

Welcome! Welcome! I wanted to start today off with a little life update! I am tremendously excited to announce that I will be spending the summer in New York City... yes, dreams do come true! :) With the support of the amazing people around me, I have excepted an internship offer in Manhattan. I am over the moon about this new adventure and can't wait to share all of it with you.

While I was in NYC interviewing for my new position, I had some free time before my flight home, so (of course) I went shopping. For anyone who appreciates a good shopping experience like me, there is shopping and then there is shopping in NYC. In New York there is everything you could ever want or imagine.

One of my favorite stores to go to in the city is & Other Stories. Their products are exciting and unique and the feeling inside the store is amazing.

I purchased a few goodies while I was there, and one of my favorites was this sweater. The fit, feel, and look are perfect. When I wear a sweater I always want to feel snuggled up but not slouchy and this is IT people.

The best thing about a sweater is there are endless ways to style it. Dress it up with some leather pants or pair it with your jeans and tennis shoes. This look specifically is easy for those cold, casual winter days.

In Bloomington, we have had a bizarre chain of weather and it has now gotten frigid cold. I know for a lot of us, the winter leads far into Spring, so this sweater will lead you all the way through the cold.

My favorite accessories at the moment are my scrunchies, my sunnies, and my new earrings (purchased locally). I've linked all of them so you to check them out yourself. There is nothing more satisfying than throwing your messy hair up in one of your velvet scrunchies so check them out. They're the perfect fix to a bad hair day and don't damage or crease your hair either!

All in all, when life hands you an opportunity to shop, you take it, and when the world hands you cold weather, you snuggle up in your favorite sweater.
