Yellow Wrap Dress

Guess where I've been shopping? Yep, you guessed it, Madewell. Believe it or not, it has been ages since I last shopped at my favorite store, but when I was in Philadelphia last week, I had to stop in. I have the obstacle of wanting to buy everything every time I walk in to Madewell and this time was no different. While I tried on probably 30 items, I had to narrow it down and the choices I made were perfect, and I am still obsessing over them.

Comfortable & Flattering

The best of the bunch was this yellow wrap dress. Now, I will tell you, I have been wanting to purchase a wrap dress for ages now but couldn't find exactly what a wanted. Well people, this is it, the perfect wrap dress. This dress is comfortable, flattering and its perfect to dress up or dress down.

The day after I purchased this special dress, I couldn't help but want to wear it immediately. We had plans to go to lunch and then visit this beautiful mountain-top resort. Now, I had packed a full bag for my weekend on the east coast but, of course, I chose to wear none of it, and instead, I wore my new yellow dress.

These great photos of this dress were taken at the Skytop Lodge in the Poconos. Honestly, I hope to have the chance to stay there one day. It's a beautiful castle-looking structure with scenic views of mountains and water, and I imagine it would be a very peaceful and relaxing place to vacation. The gardens are beautiful and the lobby is ornate and traditional, which is just my style.

I also want to add how much of a blessing it was to be able to spend some time visiting my best friend. It is always a new adventure with Chris, and this trip was a great one. Now, let's talk styling.

This dress could truly be styled with anything, sandals, sneakers, wedges, hats, scarves, a jean jacket, a leather jacket.... you get the point. I chose to style it quite simply with my new Steve Madden platform sandals and my black backpack purse. I have attached the link for all those products below.
