Fall Weather Means Fall Wardrobe

Hi everyone, so happy to have you back on my blog! Welcome! Welcome! The weather (and trees) are beginning to change in Bloomington, meaning my wardrobe is shifting as well. Therefore, today, I am discussing some of my fall favorites, and a little bit about consignment shopping! Who is excited? Me too!

Booties
Let's get in to it, and start off with denim as we almost always do. A dark wash pair of high-rise skinnies are not just a staple because they look good, but they actually go with anything, so I've linked my favorite pair. (Surprise they are on sale)!

Secondly, a basic tee. Every season needs t-shirts, so I styled this look with a maroon tee. When you're out shopping for fall, opt for some darker, natural hues when picking your tee collection to make your casual looks transitional into the fall/winter seasons.

My favorite addition to my fall wardrobe? my booties! These are suede in the front and leather in the back, which makes them the greatest booties of all time. With a western look on a chelsea boot nothing can beat them when you want to keep your toes warm and your style intact.

Jeans | Handbag
Precursor to this next paragraph, I am not a big fan of shopping at consignment stores. However, some of my friends love it. Honestly, the smell of "gently used" merchandise and the overwhelming hodgepodge of items once worn by a stranger kinda freaks me out, so I rarely go. With that being said, I had some golden finds when I went along with my friend Rachel the last time. One of those being this blazer

Now this blazer is amazing. It is fitted with a flattering silhouette, and covered with plaid in warm browns and greens. The best part is... the elbow patches. This menswear inspired trend cultivates an old Englishmen's look while being the perfect fit for a woman body. Plaid blazers are one of my favorite trends for fall. Instead of just grabbing your cargo green jacket or your basic pullover, opt for a blazer giving you a sophisticated, on-trend look.

T-Shirt | Accessories
As the trees fully turn, there are so many distinctly fall activities I love to do, and I will be sharing them on the blog soon! Until then, keep in touch on Instagram @em.schill sharing your favorite fall outfits and activities. xx Emma
